* Sponsorship fees are predicated on a $1,200 travel cost allocation per participant. Depending on the team's date of financial commitment and available air fares, players and/or sponsors should be prepared to pay additional amounts for travel costs and/or fuel surcharges beyond the budgeted per-person figure.

Air fare premiums, if necessitated, will be made at cost without any markup by HITFAIR, LLC, and will not be included in the rebate calculation of the HITFAIR formula. This policy allows international participation and accommodates teams originating from smaller cities' airports.

Even though the aggregate amount for 20 players may appear to be significant, note that the net cost, after rebate, is only about $3,600 per player , so it's a great vacation value for everyone. Remember, HITFAIR, LLC sets aside $192,000 for rebates to 140 players. That's an average rebate of almost $1,400 per player!

Business sponsors enjoy the tax savings of an advertising expense deduction. In addition, daily communications back to local markets will uniquely distinguish the sponsor in its home town. Imagine the positive corporate image benefits, plus the tax deduction.

The more you look at this great rebate formula, the better the value becomes.

Licensing a team for inclusion in HITFAIR tournaments (and securing HITFAIR Tournament marketing rights for two years to an exclusive geographical area) requires a non-refundable commitment of $600, renewable annually.

The team's tournament fee must be paid in full by July 15 (for the Fall tournament) and by February 1st (for the Spring tournament).

Remember, it's first come, first served. Only 7 teams slots are available in each tournament. The first seven managers / sponsors to make payment in full will be awarded final invitations.

Other teams' deposits will be either refunded or applied to a future tournament. Licensing fees are not refundable, regardless of whether or not the manager's proposed team eventually plays in a HITFAIR tournament

By following the HITFAIR formula for assembling a team, a team manager who works diligently may reasonably anticipate earning a free vacation and may even generate a few dollars of spending money ... plus a share of his team's slice of the rebate pie. However, no promise of financial reward is made here.

If you represent a corporate sponsor, your motivation may likely be focused on a morale-building opportunity for employees, with the company providing a fabulous "perk" -- sending a company baseball team to Hawaii.

Other corporate sponsors may be interested in developing their teams geographically, perhaps centered around their company's headquarters. These sponsors may want to supplement their existing rosters with free-agent players.

HITFAIR, LLC has resources that include access to free-agent players in a number of geographical areas. Both self-sponsored and non-sponsored free-agent registrations are now being accepted, and tryouts are projected in Villa Park CA, Chicago IL, Cleveland OH, Rochester NY, Raleigh NC, Worthington, MN, Tri-Valley CA and other locations.

Retired major league players and other public figures who are baseball fans may choose to become involved for reasons of community service, general goodwill, and favorable response from the media.

In order to be considered as a team manager or to take the next step toward becoming a team sponsor, please provide HITFAIR, LLC with your contact information. (no obligation by merely registering with HITFAIR and no sharing of information is ever made without your authorization).
